About Us
Igniting Curiosity, Inspiring Innovation
Established in 2025, the Vancouver Youth Science Society (VYSS) is committed to inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders. We focus on empowering youth through engaging, hands-on learning experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, and innovation. By raising awareness about the important role of STEM in shaping our future, VYSS aims to foster curiosity and drive meaningful impact in young minds.

Our Journey
Driven by a passion to connect Canadian youth with opportunities to make a global impact, we grew from humble beginnings into meaningful initiatives. Join us in building a future where innovation knows no bounds.
Problems
The lack of dedicated science study networks for students remains a significant challenge. Many young learners face difficulties connecting with their peers across different schools, which limits opportunities for collaboration, shared learning, and academic growth.
Our Solutions
To bridge this gap, the Vancouver Youth Science Society (VYSS) has launched an innovative platform: a dedicated social network designed specifically for STEM students. This dynamic space enables students to connect, form study groups, and collaborate anytime, fostering a culture of shared learning and curiosity. It also encourages participation in competitions, promoting deeper interest in exploration and innovation. By facilitating seamless communication and collaboration, the VYSS network empowers young scientists to grow both academically and creatively. This initiative not only enriches their knowledge but also builds a strong community of future science leaders.
Our Team

Jae Park
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
As a secondary school student in Vancouver, Canada, I’ve always been driven by curiosity and a desire to seek answers. Rather than exploring these questions alone, I decided to team up with like-minded friends to create VYSS. Together, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of learning beyond the limits of time, place, and expectation.
